Linda Loved Her Experience with Cumby's Interiors

The professional with whom I chose (and have been fortunate enough) to work is Cumby Hammock-Cobb of Columbia’s Custom Interiors. My collaboration with Cumby on this project has been a wonderful experience, for not only is she a joy to work with, she’s also a joyous person and brings that aspect of her personality into everything she does!

During the initial meeting here at the house, we spent time looking at and talking about the space, and what I wanted from it, both aesthetically and functionally.

Armed with that information, Cumby set out to work her magic in the form of a detailed plan which ably and beautifully incorporated the form and function part of the equation (my need for comfort and storage), with my wishes for a space that was also beautiful, calm, warm and inviting.

Though I’m told other designers prefer for their clients to be ‘hands-off’ during projects, I was thrilled to find and really appreciated the fact that Cumby very much welcomed and included me in the process. She not only delivered on all of my wishes for this space, but created a place which is so much more than I could ever have hoped for, one which is very much, “me.”
